  Reporting and Acclimatization

Get down at Patlikuhal (20 km before Manali and 20 km after Kullu) from bus. Jeep ride to Rumsu base camp(10 km). After freshening up and breakfast all the participants will undergo through registration process for the trek. Post Lunch we will go for an acclimatization walk. Overnight stay at Rumsu base camp.


After Breakfast trek commences towards Pulag village. Explore and experience the culture of a Himalayan village. Get a chance to interact with the locals. After having lunch the participants will go to Naggar. Attractions in Naggar: Gauri Shanker temple, Tripura Sundari temple, Nagger Castle, Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery. The group will return to Rumsu Base Camp by the evening.

  Snow Activity

Snow trekking commences towards Sterling forest. The lush green forest of Pine, Fir, Oak and chestnut trees are all covered with snow. Participants would be provided with Gum boots (size and quantity subjected to availability) from the base camp which would make the trek convenient. Return to the base camp sliding down on the snow by evening.

  Manali Sight Seeing

After breakfast all the trekkers will start their trek to Chandrakhani Pass with their packed lunch. We will start the trek early by 6 AM. The trek route has a moderate ascend and takes around 4 hours to reach Chandrakhani Pass. The highest point of the pass is 3,660 meters. Just adjacent to the Chandrakhani Pass lies Dhana Kunnu Pass. The entire place is associated with the famous Jamdagini Rishi, one of the seven Saptrishi. We will then start our descend from Chandrakhani and will camp at Chaklani. The descend is easy and takes around 2 hours. Overnight stay in tents at Chaklani camp site(If there will be lot of snow participants will stay at Ghan kulhadi*)
