A Russian tourist has been arrested in Thailand: he is charged with a grave article

The 47-year-old resort traveler was detained in a house in the Tropical Villa Eagle Nest residential complex on Koh Samui, located in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of Surat Thani. A warehouse of narcotic substances was found and then seized in the room: 16 grams of crystalline methamphetamine, 200 grams of cocaine, 25 grams of ketamine, 16 grams of regular methamphetamine, 50 ecstasy tablets and 10 tablets of cocaine. A set of scales was also confiscated as material evidence. The man was charged with illegal possession of drugs for sale.
Considering that Thailand has some of the harshest penalties in the world for the use / distribution of illegal substances, the tourist faces a severe penalty in the form of imprisonment from 25 years to life imprisonment or the death penalty.
